Big Sky Farm knitting yarn

Fleeces from the sheep on my farm are hand-selected and custom spun at a mill here in Vermont to a 2-ply worsted weight. Skeins are approximately 4 oz., 230 yds. and are available both in natural sheep's grey and kettle-dyed colors simmered on my campfire at home. This yarn knits up  at 4 to 5 sts. per inch on size 6-8 needles and is a nice medium weight for sweaters, caps and mittens.

When I am not at my looms I am usually knitting! I make a variety of caps and mittens, all of my own design, most of which have energetic color combinations, and are made with fit in mind.
